About Mikey Buman

Mikey passed away suddenly in 2024 at the young age of 33.

Mikey was one the most loving, happiest people you could have ever met. If you knew him, you loved him and he certainly made you laugh at one point or another.  He just always knew the right thing to say to get you to smile or laugh.

Mikey's greatest passion in life was speedway racing. He began racing at only nine years old.  He spent time on the US Speedway Touring team in Europe, and traveled across the United States and Canada so that he could carry out his dream of racing professionally.  When he wasn’t racing, he was talking about the next race, working on one of his bikes or helping out someone else on their bike.  He was very generous, especially to the junior riders coming up behind him.

To try to make some sense of his passing, our family founded the Mikey Buman Young Riders Memorial Fund to continue Mikey's legacy.  All proceeds from sales support the Memorial Fund and are used to sponsor junior riders and events.
